Co-curricular Activities

To develop the varied talents and interests of the students, the school provides ample opportunities through membership in Scout and Guide, Student Police Cadet,Bul-Bul,Junior Red Cross,National Service Scheme etc. These activities incubate the leadership qualities and train them to be globally responsible citizens.

  1. Sports and Games

The development of mind and body go hand-in -hand.Physical education plays a vital role in creating confident individuals. Therefore,sports are an integral part of our education system.Students are encouraged to participate in various inter-house and inter-school competitions.Students are given special coaching in their respective disciplines and are offered maximum opportunity to participate in the district and state level competitions.A wide range of excellent sports facilities are available like badminton, volleyball etc.

As part of the overall personality development,students are encouraged to participate in various activities such as Arts,Music,Dance,Drama etc. The students are exposed to several classical dance forms in the inter-house dance competitions conducted at the school. The students eagerly participate in the various events as per the individual interests and the management and staff enjoy their creative output.

We develop the sense of self defence among our students. Consistently maintained karate sessions and well-trained coach make the students fill with the sense of martial arts

Our school provides the opportunity to participate in various scholarship exams at various levels like PCM,DCL etc.

Scout and guides

Our school provides the facility of scouting and guiding with a major accent. The Bharat scouts and guides is the national scouting and guiding association of India. Scouting and guiding is an excellent education moment which gives training to the youth for becoming good citizens who work with a sense of devotion towards the achievement of full personality development.

 

Student police cadet

The student police cadet (SPC)is a school-based youth development initiative that trains high school students to evolve as future leaders of a democratic society by inculcating within them respect for the law, discipline, civic sense, empathy for vulnerable sections and resistance to social evils. The project also enables youth to explore and develop their innate capabilities. Equally it strengthens within the commitment towards their family, the community and the environment.

 

Bul-Bul

Bul-Bul is an initiative aiming at the character building of students from std 3-5. Instilling self-discipline and thoughtfulness for others at a tender age is the major focus of the activities designed for this group. This enables students to be independent and to live life in a discipline manner.

 

Junior Red Cross

The Junior Red Cross is the student’s wing of the Red Cross. It encourages younger generation to cultivate their humanitarian spirit by understanding the red cross principles and ideas and to participate actively in the movement. The overarching idea behind JRC is to enable the county’s youth, so that they may one day contribute in their own way, to the establishment of world peace and welfare of the mankind.

 

National service scheme

The national service scheme is a central-sector scheme of government of India, Implemented by the ministry of youth affairs and sports. NSS seeks to give an extended dimension to the education system to orientate the young students to selfless service towards community work. The scheme primarily aims for personality development of students through social service. Our school provides vast ground for preparing and training students for delivering community services. Keeping in heart the NSS motto “Not me but you”. Every year NSS unit carries out scores of programmes that aim at helping the society.
